Privacy policy

SheetShow is a sheet-music reader for tablets. In short: we do not collect any information about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no SheetShow servers. Your music and notes stay on your own tablets.

What stays on your tablet

The PDF files you add, your folders and setlists, file details, notes, bookmarks, shortcuts, metronome marks and settings are stored only inside the app on your tablet. We never see them. Deleting the app deletes them.

Syncing between your own tablets

If you pair tablets (for book mode or to share a library), they talk directly to each other:

Your files, notes and library list go only to the tablets you paired. Nothing is sent through the internet or stored in a cloud by SheetShow. Each tablet shows the other tablets' device names so you can tell them apart.

Permissions the app asks for

You can turn these permissions off in your tablet's settings at any time; the features that need them will then stop working.

Files you open from elsewhere

When you import a PDF or a backup, you choose it with your tablet's own file picker (which may include services such as Google Drive or iCloud Drive). SheetShow copies the file you picked into the app and does nothing else with those services. When you export, the file goes only where you choose to save it.

Services from Google and Apple

The Android version uses Google Play services for Nearby Connections and the document scanner, and the operating system on either platform may collect its own information under Google's or Apple's privacy policies. SheetShow does not add any tracking or advertising code.

Children

SheetShow collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
